Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Pokky Game collects when you play games here, why we collect it, who else receives it, and the control you have over it. It applies to pokkygame.com and every game hosted on it.
Last updated 3 August 2026
1. Overview
Pokky Game operates pokkygame.com (the “Site”), a website where visitors play browser-based games at no cost. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have over it.
We have written this policy to describe what the Site actually does rather than to cover every possibility. Where a practice does not currently apply to us, we say so. If that changes, we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
The short version
You do not need an account to use Pokky Game, and we do not ask for your name, address or payment details. Your game progress and high scores are saved inside your own browser, not on our servers. Our web servers keep standard access logs, and our advertising partners — principally Google — use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time using the links in section 6.
2. Who we are
For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, Pokky Game is the data controller for personal data processed through the Site. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we act as a Data Fiduciary.
You can reach us about any privacy matter at privacy@pokkygame.com. Our Grievance Officer, appointed as required by the DPDP Act, can be contacted at the same address — see section 14.
3. Information we collect
We collect far less than most websites, because the Site has no accounts, no profiles and no shopping features. The table below is a complete list of what reaches us.
| Category | What it includes | How it is collected |
|---|---|---|
| Server access logs | IP address, browser user-agent string, referring page, requested URL, date and time, and the response status. | Recorded automatically by our web server on every request, as is standard for websites. |
| Device and browser data | Screen size, language, operating system and general device type, used to render the Site correctly. | Sent by your browser as part of a normal page request. |
| Local game data | High scores, unlocked levels, sound preference and similar in-game settings. | Written by the game to your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. |
| Advertising identifiers | Cookies, device identifiers and interaction signals used to select and measure advertisements. | Set by third-party advertising partners such as Google. See section 6. |
| Correspondence | Your email address and whatever you choose to write to us. | Only if you email us directly. We never buy or scrape contact details. |
What we do not collect
We do not ask for or store your name, postal address, phone number, date of birth, government identifiers or payment information. We do not operate user accounts, we do not run newsletters, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.
4. Game saves and local storage
The games on Pokky Game save your progress using your browser’s local storage. This is a small area of storage that belongs to your browser on your own device. A game might record that you have unlocked level seven, that your best score is 12,480, or that you prefer the sound muted.
This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to our servers, it is not readable by other websites, and it is not linked to any identifier we hold. It is also not shared between browsers or devices, which is why your scores do not follow you from a phone to a laptop.
You can erase it at any time by clearing site data for pokkygame.com in your browser settings. Doing so resets your scores and unlocked levels, which cannot be recovered.
5. How we use information
We use the limited information described above for these purposes only:
- Delivering the Site. Serving pages, loading games and adapting the layout to your screen.
- Security and abuse prevention. Access logs let us identify automated scraping, denial-of-service attempts and other misuse, and block the sources responsible.
- Diagnostics and reliability. When a page or a game fails, logs tell us which request broke and on what kind of browser, so we can fix it.
- Understanding what is popular. Aggregated, non-identifying counts of which games are played most, so we know what to build next.
- Advertising. Funding the Site through ads served by third parties, as described in the next section.
- Answering you. Replying to emails you send us and keeping a record of the exchange.
We do not use your data to build marketing profiles, and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
6. Advertising and Google AdSense
Pokky Game is free to use and is funded by advertising. We work with third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense, to display ads on the Site.
How advertising cookies work here
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or to other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to pokkygame.com and/or other sites on the internet.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies and similar technologies to measure whether an ad was seen, whether it was clicked, and whether it led to any action — this is how advertisers are billed and how we are paid.
- We do not control these cookies, and we do not receive the personal data that advertising partners collect through them. We receive only aggregated performance and earnings reports.
Opting out of personalised ads
You are not required to accept personalised advertising. You can opt out through any of the following, and doing so does not prevent you from using the Site or seeing ads — the ads simply become less relevant:
- Turn off ad personalisation in your Google account at Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of participating vendors at aboutads.info/choices (United States) or youronlinechoices.eu (Europe).
- Review the full list of vendors and their own policies at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, as described in our Cookie Policy.
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you are in a region that requires it, you will be shown a consent message before non-essential cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Where consent is refused, our partners are instructed to serve non-personalised ads, which still use a limited amount of data for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.
7. Legal bases for processing
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 of the GDPR:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Serving pages and games you request | Legitimate interests running the service you asked to use |
| Security, abuse prevention and diagnostics | Legitimate interests keeping the Site available and secure |
| Personalised advertising and related cookies | Consent, which you may withdraw at any time |
| Non-personalised advertising and fraud prevention | Legitimate interests funding a free service |
| Replying to your correspondence | Legitimate interests, or performance of a contract where relevant |
| Meeting legal and regulatory obligations | Legal obligation |
Under India’s DPDP Act, we process personal data on the basis of your consent or for legitimate uses permitted by that Act, including maintaining the security of the Site.
9. How long we keep information
- Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days, after which they are deleted or aggregated into non-identifying statistics.
- Local game data stays in your browser until you clear it. We have no ability to delete it remotely.
- Email correspondence is kept for up to 24 months so that we have context if you write to us again, then deleted.
- Advertising data is retained by the relevant advertising partner under its own retention schedule, not ours.
10. Security
The Site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. We apply standard security headers, restrict which origins may embed our pages, keep our software dependencies patched, and limit administrative access to the people who need it.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach ever affects your personal data and is likely to cause you harm, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority within the timeframes the applicable law requires.
11. Children's privacy
Pokky Game is a general-audience website. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. We do not require an account, so a child cannot register or submit personal details through the Site.
Under India’s DPDP Act, we do not knowingly undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children. Where we are aware that a visitor is a child, advertising partners are instructed to serve non-personalised ads.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@pokkygame.com and we will delete it promptly.
12. Your rights and choices
If you are in the EEA or the UK
You have the right to access your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are in California
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, used and disclosed, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of the sharing that occurs through advertising cookies, use the controls in section 6 or email privacy@pokkygame.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”.
If you are in India
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you have the right to obtain a summary of the personal data we process and the processing activities undertaken, the right to correction, completion, updating and erasure, the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, and the right to an accessible grievance redressal mechanism — see section 14.
Making a request
Email privacy@pokkygame.com describing what you would like us to do. We will respond within 5 business days and complete the request within the period the applicable law allows, normally 30 days.
A note on verifying requests
Because we do not operate accounts, in most cases the only data we hold that could relate to you is a server log entry tied to an IP address. To act on an access or deletion request we may need you to tell us the approximate dates and IP address involved. If we genuinely cannot link any data to you, we will tell you so rather than ask for additional identifying information we do not need.
13. International data transfers
The Site is operated from India, and our hosting and advertising partners operate globally. As a result, information may be processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from those where you live.
Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, our partners rely on legal transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision. Google’s arrangements are described in its own Privacy Policy.
14. Contact and grievance redressal
For any question, request or complaint about privacy, contact us at:
| Purpose | Contact |
|---|---|
| Privacy questions and data rights requests | privacy@pokkygame.com |
| Grievance Officer (DPDP Act, 2023) | privacy@pokkygame.com |
| Copyright and takedown notices | dmca@pokkygame.com |
| Everything else | support@pokkygame.com |
We aim to acknowledge every message within 5 business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site changes or as the law requires. When we do, we revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes — for example, introducing a new category of data collection — will be highlighted prominently on the Site for a reasonable period before taking effect.
Continuing to use Pokky Game after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy. If you do not agree with it, please stop using the Site and clear its data from your browser.
Effective 3 August 2026. Read alongside our Terms of Service, Cookie Policy and Disclaimer.
